Nya, I guess I'll dedicate this first chapter to Cherry-chan :frolic:

Intro: Sadly, after doing a major revamp, this is my only written Sonic fanfiction that survived the cut. All the others are temporarily cut until I finish more work. However, I am working on a Sonadow manga.

Anyway, Sh:A came about due to the bad reviews Shadow the Hedgehog (game) received. A miracle would be the only way he'd get another game-but if he got one and I was in charge, what would happen?

Currently going on two vols, each vol has our hedgie threesome, led by Shadow, on an adventure to save someone. There is a "main villain" of course, but only you (the readers) will know while our hedgies end vol I with only questions.... Yes, this isn't just some basic story where everything is resolved at the end. The first vol already spans many different time periods, if one thinks about the events that take place.

Though I don't know how long Sh:A will be, be prepared for a long, hard (ha ha) but rather fruitful journey with plot twists, surprises and threesomes XD

This story is UNEDITED, but there will be ample warning before sex scenes, as well as personal intensity ratings, ranging from 0-10.

Volume I
Chapter I One

The time was late, past midnight, but not past two a.m. Being a Thursday night, Centralis City was quiet, sleeping peacefully. The night was clear, but moonless, so, darkness truly reigned. The darkness was the perfect cloak-perfect to allow a lithe anthro to sneak through a no longer heavily guarded and secured building. The cameras had been sucessfully disconnected, but in a way that no one would notice for a good while; the guards had been sucessfully taken care of-all knocked out at seperate times to avoid being seen by anyone else.

Due to his own genius, this would probably become known as The Perfect Crime.

Well, his crime was almost perfect.

Somewhere along the line, he hadn't cut the right wire and now the alarm rang and lights flashed.

He could already hear the new set of gaurds stomping, screaming commands.

He cursed at how sloppy he had been and realized if he wanted to escape, he no longer had a choice.

A loud, monsterous explosion rocked the top of the President's Personal Security Building.



~~SHADOW: Adventure~~



The door opened swifly as a cheery blue hedghog stood at the threshold with a tray of breakfast foods.

"Hey, guys, I.... the fu)k!?"

"Oh, Shadow! OH GODS, SHADOW!!"

Sonic glared. "I'M GONE FOR TWENTY MINUTES AND YOU GUYS START FU)KING WITHOUT ME!?"

Shadow stopped his intense thrusting and sat up to glance back at Sonic. "I'm sorry, So-chan, but Sil-chan's been wanting to do this alone with me for a while."

Silver quickly sat up. "Yeah, so, like...leave."

"Fu)k you!" Sonic screamed.

"I think you're already done that...." Shadow trailed.

"God..." Sonic sighed, walking over to the bed. He placed the tray on the bed stand, then sat down angrily to stuff his face like an angry girlfriend watching her boyfriend flirt.

Technically, this was pretty much the same thing.

"Well," Sonic started. "I made you guys breakfast, even though Shadow doesn't really need to eat."

"So, you really don't?" Silver questioned.

"Not really," Shadow answered. "But, Sonic's a good cook. I like the way his food tastes."

"But, you know, Sil, you can go downstairs and eat," Sonic smirked nastily.

"So you can be alone with Shadow-san? I don't think so."

"HE'S MY BOYFRIEND, YOU ASSWIPE! I HAVE EVER RIGHT TO BE ALONE WITH HIM!!"

"You shouldn't be so willing to share if you're not any good at doing so," the psychokinetic smirked.

"Now, now, you two," Shadow started, reaching for a bowl of rice. "Morning is too early to be fighting. Anyway, Sil-chan, you do need to eat."

"But I'm not hungry."

"You can't have a good orgasm on an empty stomach."

"Oh...well then," Sil began innocently, wrapping arms around Shadow's neck. "Will you feed me with your mouth, Shadow-san?"

At the sound of that request, Sonic choked a bit. He whipped around and watched Shadow use the chopsticks to pick up some rice and place the grain in his mouth. Shadow then bent over and kissed Sil gently on the lips, then push the food into his mouth with his tongue.

Blushing in both anger and embarrassment, Sonic whipped back around

"Come now, So-chan," Shadow's voice ran sensually and deeply in Sonic's ear. "You and I have shared food plently of times before. No need to become jealous."

"Who said I was jealous!?"

"That blush on your face is a good indicator," Shadow smirked, making Sil giggle.

"Fu)k the both of you," Sonic grumbled. "Sil, hurry up and eat!"

"Alright, alright," Sil rolled his eyes and reached over for a bowl of rice with a nicely cooked fish draped atop the mountain of white grain. When he (and his boyfriends so to speak) were done, he preceeded to make a rather interesting suggestion.

"So-chan, let's make a Shadow Sandwich."

Shadow blinked. "A what now?"

Sonic tilted his head in thought. "You know, Sil, I think that's the smartest thing you've said since you got here."

"Fu)k you," Sil said, sitting up. "So-chan, you be the bottom peice of bread, I'll be the top."

Sonic glared. "Why do you get to be on top?"

"I haven't had a chance to love Shadow-san, that's why," Sil glared.

Sonic glared back harder- because he knew that was the truth. "Fine," he shrugged. "Since I'm gonna be the bottom piece, I'll go brush my teeth."

"How responsible, So-chan," Sil smiled cheerfully.

"Shut up," Sonic replied.

"Now, now, I need a condem," Sil said to himself, rummaging through a dresser drawer. "Unless... Shadow-san, which do you perfer, condem or no condem?"

"You don't have to use one," Shadow replied. Though he looked calm, he still had no idea what the hell was going on.
Sonic soon emerged from the bathroom and laid down across the bed. "Shade, we're gonna sixty-nine."

"Oh," Shadow's ears perked in interest.

"But, you can't suck me back."

"Why not?"

"That's the rule of The Sandwich. The person in the middle doesn't do anything, just look nice. I mean, no one pays attention to the bread, just what's in between the slices."

Shadow looked a bit displeased. He loved to sixty-nine with Sonic and since Sil came along, they could do what they called The Eternal Looped Sixty-Nine... but this was the first time he had heard of anything called The Sandwich.
Wait...had Sonic and Sil... planned this?
They must have, because when Sil suggested The Sandwich, Sonic knew what Sil was talking about....

"Oh, boy..." Shadow trailed.

With Sil being as smart as he was and Sonic being so outgoing and carefree, who knew what Shadow was about to experience.

"Okey, ready, Shadow-san?" Sil asked, smirking.

"I guess..." Shadow replied uneasily as he crawled over Sonic.

"Remember, no sucking back," Sonic smirked.

"All righty, on three," Sil started. "One, two, three-"

"TIME FOR A SANDWICH!!"

"OH GODS!" Shadow screamed.

Shadow knew something was coming, but he hadn't been quite prepared for this.

Sil had slammed in hard the first time he engulfed himself in Shadow's warmth and Sonic had immediantly deep throated him on the first go. Shadow's whole lower region was tingling in pleasure, but his body was sort of confused: Should he thrust toward Sil or down towards Sonic?

Soon, Shadow had come up with a thrusting pattern, which sort of took on the shape of a right triangle: back towards Sil, down towards Sonic, then back up in order to repeat.

God, Shadow had thought the sex with them had been amazing, but this-surprisingly, they had never done anything like this.

Shadow started panting, even salivating. "More...more..." he begged. "Ah... de...deeper...."

"Ah.. oh..." Shadow cracked an eye open. He could see Sonic was fully erect and even dripping, looking very appetizing. Shadow quickly closed his eye, trying to abide by what appeared to be the only rule of The Sandwich. He clentched tightly to the covers, his body trembling in pleasure. This was so intense, so amazingly intense. "More... more..." Shadow begged. His breathing was becoming haggered. He spread his legs wider which seemed to give Sil more which with room to work. Shadow could have sworn Sil slipped in at least two inches more. Sonic had Shadow's entire sex partically wrapped up in his tongue, his fingers messaging his "cheeries" fondly.

"Oh... God..." Shadow was crying now, this felt so good he was crying. He could barely breathe and his body was shivering. He wouldn't be able to take this much longer.

"Shadow...san... you're so... tight..." Sil spoke in between breaths and hard thrusts. His head was tilted back in pleasure, his tongue hung slightly out of his mouth. "So warm... and... tight..."

Now, if Sonic wasn't so busy, he would tell Shadow how amazingly good and sweet he tasted, how fantastic his sex felt to his tongue.

"I can't take.. this..." Shadow breathed. "I.. I think I'm..."

"No..wait... just a few more...seconds..." Sil whispered.
Both Sonic and Shadow had noticed Sil was one to release after everyone else. "Ah..Ah..." Sil moaned, thrusting faster. "I'm... I'm..."
Sonic merely hummed, signaling any minute now...
Any minute now...
"Oh...AH! OH GODS!" Sil screamed.

Shadow felt Sil jerk hard into his spot and orgasmed intensely. How Sonic managed to not chock was beyond Shadow's comprehension, but he really didn't have much time to think about that. Due to his position, his face was soon covered in Sonic's seed, spraying all over him in sync with Sil's intense orgasm.

*"What do you think, Shade?"

"Just as sweet," Shadow replied. He smiled as he watched Sil snuggled up to Sonic, who then whispered sweet nothings$ into his ear. Shadow then got up and went into the bathroom to clean himself a bit. When he got back into the bedroom, he watched Sil sleepily roll over and hit the remote with his hand, thus turning the on the TV.

"...dent's Personal Security Building. The guards on duty report being knocked unconcious and do not recall seeing their assiliant. Upon viewing the security cameras, no data was found as the assiliant had found a way to cut the cameras off in such a way that their disconnections were not detected."

"Mmm...what's going on?" Sil started sleepily, sitting up. He glanced over at the TV just in time to see an image of the security building in partial ruins. "What...?"

"Inside the security building lays valuable documents, artwork and even jewels, most of which were gifts from neighboring countries to promote peace. Amoung the stolen items were the Alexis Jewel, a small, precious, yellow gem from Neokyo, the island country, a gift of peace and friendship. The origin of the Alexis Jewel is unknown, but older residents of Neokyo claim the gem is hundreds of years old, bestowed with magical powers and belonged to a princess named Alexis. Also stolen was various paperwork and CDs regarding information of the Space Colony ARK. Until the investigation dwells deeper, what was on the CDs and in the paperwork is currently unknown. As for a suspect, there isn't one. Also the number of suspects is unknown, as the theft looks as if there was more than one suspect. For now, we ask the citizens of Centralis City to keep an eye out for anyone or anything suspcious."

"What do you want to do, Shade?" Sonic asked.

Shadow placed the remote back on the bed. "Let's take a shower, then we'll check this out."

There it is, chapter one. For those who read it, what a sexy threesome, no? At the time, I simply wanted to put in as much sex as possible, but eventually the plot kicks in and the sexy has to stop ;_; I know it seems as though Sil and So hate each other, but they really do love each other, they're just trying to balance how to share Shadow. This problem is addressed in Vol II.
Also, some of you may be asking, if Sil and Shade are lovers, why does Sil call Shadow "Shadow-san"? Sil simply has a lot of respect for Shadow, and has since the time they met, and simply hasn't "broken the habit," if you will, of treating Shadow as a superior instead of an equal in the relationship. Honestly, I think it's sort of cute.
So, quesitons, comments, creative criticism. Go for it. Also, with how busy school has me this semester, expect updates on the weekend, either saturday and sunday.

Chapter II two

"Shadow."

The black and red hedgehog turned away from the window. "Yeah, So-chan?"

"I..." Sonic started shyly. "Do you still love me?"

Shadow blinked. "Yeah, babe, of course I do. I'll always love you. Why are you asking?"

"It's just, since Sil came along..."

"Babe, you know Sil gets scared when he's alone. He needs someone with him to help him through things on an emotional level," Shadow paused and walked over to Sonic, then pulled him close. "I love both you and Sil the same, but you'll always be my first," Shadow gave Sonic a deep kiss, similar to the first kiss they had shared twelve years ago. So deep, so intense...

Sil blushed when he saw the two, but then suddenly felt... alone again. He thought for a few minutes and realized Shadow nor Sonic had never really kissed him so deeply like that. Maybe.. I... I'm really in the way... Sil thought, walking slowly down the hall. He crept down the stairs and went to sit on the couch where he patiently waited for his boyfriends.

"I guess we're still boyfriends..." Sil trailed. He sat up, a bit startled when he heard footsteps and Sonic leaped over the couch to sit next to him.

"Yo," Sonic smiled.

"Hello, So-chan."

Sonic cocked his head in curiousity. "What's wrong, Sil?"

Sonic went into thought for a few seconds before placing an arm around Sil. "I'm sorry, baby," he whispered before leaning in and kissing Sil deeply, so deeply that Sil was positive he could feel raw passion and...

"I love you," Sonic whispered. "Even though Shadow is my first love, I love you just the same."

"So-chan..." Sil whispered before falling into another heated kiss. He allowed Sonic to push him on his back onto the couch and run hands over his body.

"There's the building, babes," Shadow spoke.

The three hedgies began to look at the building, starting from the bottom, which was surrounded by police and fire personnel, news crews and Centralis City citizens; and making their way to the top- which, of course, was no longer there since someone had blown the building's top floors to debris of metal and concrete. Now, the building looked incomplete and charred.

Sonic was the first to glance back down into the crowd. "Woe! Hey, Tails!! Amy!!"

Amy turned around while Tails glanced from behind dark shades.

"Sonic-kun!" Amy yelled and waved. "Shadow-san! Sil-chan!"

"Amy-chan!" Sil cried, running towards the pink hedgehog. "Or, should I call you Prower-san?"

Amy blushed. "Well, we haven't had the wedding yet."

"Ny, Amy-chan," Sonic smirked. "I see the bread's almost ready to come out of the oven," the Blue Blur pointed.

"Sonic-kun!" Amy blushed brighter. "Yeah, it'll be here any day now. I'm super excited. So, how are you three?" Amy smirked. "You three have been taking breaks to eat, right?"

Tails giggled as the three hedgies' red faces. He turned around, trench coat fluttering, and took off his shades. "Nice to see you guys again," he smiled.

"Same here, Tails," Sonic smiled toothily and gave a thumbs up. "Who would have thought Tails would be the first to go off and have a kid?"

"Oh, I don't know," Amy started. "I've always seen Sil-chan as a sort of son. He's just so cute."

"Oh! Mama-Amy! Don't forget me when you have your baby!!" Sil cried, hugging Amy tightly, yet gently.

"Now, now, Sil-chan," Amy smiled, hugging him back.

"So, Prower-san," Shadow started. "I take that this theft has you interested."

"Yeah, the Jewel caught my attention. Up until now, I haven't heard of he Alexis Jewel-and, of course, I want to know why someone wanted that ARK data."

"Twelve years was the last time we went up there.." Sonic trailed, looking up thoughtfully. "Twelve years since we took out Biolizard.. I wonder... hey guys... what did we do with that data on Biolizard anyway?"

A brief silence.

"Um...wasn't it.... in the building?" Amy asked.

*SHADOW: Adventure*

"Jyuu."
Countdown: 10

*SHADOW: Adventure*

"Dusk...Dusk...did you feel that?"

"Mmm?"

"I'm asking if you felt that."

"The spark? Yes, I did. The spark that feels like you and I... but, only for a little time. Though, I feel the spark, I do not know where he is..."

"He must be lonely... being the way he is... he's very lonely.. Anyway, does the jewel work?"

He turned around to the make-shift tube. "Alexis has helped a little. He seems more alive now. He will wake up soon."

"I guess we need more juice.. Let's see... Can't go back to the building. Hey, I heard someone took some ARK papers. I hate the fact I was someone's diversion."

"You were another's diversion, is that so?"

"Yeah, it's so! I don't know why anyone would want any info on that place, Hell in space, right?"

"I did not like the ARK too much."

"I HATED that place, I still HATE that place, after what they did to me. I still feel the pain of all that damn experimenting! And you! Why aren't you more pissed!? Your little human friend's in a coma because of those bastards!"

"Becoming engulfed in anger does nothing."

A sigh. "Well, don't worry, my little prototype. I have proven loyalty to you, so to speak. We will help your friend wake up. I promise you that."

He turned around and smiled brightly. "Thank you very much, Dawn-Oniichan."

*SHADOW: Adventure*

"Yeah, just like we thought guys," Tails started solemnly.

"Yeah?" Shadow asked, standing up off the couch.

Tails turned around and rubbed a temple. "I hacked into what was left of the computer network at the security building. The data on Biolizard is all gone."

End chapter II two

Yah!
First off all, Dawn and Dusk aren't brothers, or really related... at least, not in the way of which we are familiar....
So, how was that scene? I thought the fact both So and Shade were inside Sil a bit much, but for some reason, I really like XD.
Yes, aside from Shadow, I'd say everyone is in their early to late 20s...
I've always thought Tails and Amy were cute together. This will be my first pregnancy in the Sonic Universe.
So, yes, it's been 12 years since Biolizard. I can give a little away, I suppose: Thanks to the time reboot from STH 2006, the ending of Biolizard was also altered and Shadow didn't "die" and soon after that, he and Sonic started dating. When STH 2006 came back around, the only thing that happened was Sil coming back, claiming to have memories of Sonic, Shadow and the Flames of Disasters-which no longer exist because of the time reboot-BUT because such a disaster like the Flames "still happened" the timeline simply replaced the "missing" disaster... with something else...

That's Dawn talking (it's Dusk and Dawn just talking to each other) and no, that's not Maria in the tube... though, I think I know why you would think that- BUT, if you look at what Dusk says after Dawn ask him if the crystal's working:
"HE seems more alive now. HE will wake up soon." Dusk is referring to the person in the tube.
I was trying to add a bit of mystery there by not giving out too many names. Sorry for the confusion.

Hello again. Sorry I couldn't check in during the week. At school I only have time to check my email and reply to them. Then I have to rush to class. I have a lot of tests coming up, so I spend a lot of studying... I also have club meetings, too. I just don't have time to hang out here like I used to and it makes me very sad that I can't talk to you all....

Chapter III three

"What do you wanna do?" Tails asked

Shadow didn't answer at first. He kept looking up at cieling, trying to peice things together.

"Mmm... Shadow-san...right there..."

Shadow glanced down. Sil was sleeping, curled up in Shadow's lap. Sonic was also asleep, leaning against Shadow's chest.

"I guess they're tired from all the sex this morning..." Shadow murmured, tightening a protective arm around Sonic and petting Sil's head.

"Oh, Shade, right there, baby," Sonic whispered.

"Do they always dream of you like that?" Tails asked, smirking.

"I don't know. This is the first time I've noticed it," Shadow answered.

"If you dream about someone, it just means you think about them a lot," Amy giggled. "They don't have enough hours in the day to think about you, so they do it in their sleep as well."

"Hm..." Shadow murmured. Do I really mean that much to the both of them?

"No, please..." Sil murmured, face showing pain. "Please... don't...no... no...!"

"Sil...?" Shadow questioned. "Sil, what's wrong?"

"Hmm, what's with all the noise...?" Sonic murmured, rubbing an eye as he woke up. "What's wrong with Sil-chan?"

"I don't know," Shadow answered. "Sil-chan, wake up."

"NO! NO, PLEASE, STOP!!" Sil screamed, eyes closed in pain. "No, no, YOU'LL KILL EVERYONE!! NO!! DON'T!!"

"SILVER!" Shadow screamed, sitting the anthro up. Gently, Shadow shook a frantic Silver. "SILVER!"

Panic stricken eyes, flooding with tears, shot open. "We're all going to die..."

~SHADOW: Adventure~

"Sil, come on, calm down," Shadow whispered, cradling a trembling anthro.

Since Sil had woken up, he had gone into a chain of random words, something about explosions, blood... none of his talking made sense.

"Tails, will he be all right?" Sonic asked, truly concerned. He really did love Sil, after all.

"He's in shock," Tails explained. "That dream he had, since he's psychic, his dream was probably precognitive-future seeing. We need to listen to him and try to make sense out of his words."

"But, Sil's had future seeing dreams before. They've never been this bad," Sonic spoke.

"We're dealing with something bigger here," Shadow explained and tried to pull Sil away from him, but the silver anthro clenched tightly, terrified. His eyes were still wide in fear and he shook almost violently. "Sil, listen to me," Shadow whispered. "Tell me what you saw, all right? You take all the time you need."

Sil nodded, chewing on a knuckle. "So much... so many people, they... they... screaming, blood.. just... so suddenly, they... and there was... explosions, but he..."

"He?"

"Not his fault, pushed to... he... so lonely, scared, not his fault.. but he... just..."

"Sil, who is he?" Shadow asked.

"He...color of... sunset, no....more like.. and daybreak... both, I... I.. he... so alone... but he... he... so... He... both colors, like they... sort of... like.... in between... and... covered in...." Sil glanced around.

He then screamed again and began pointing at-

"THAT! THAT! COVERED IN THAT!!"

"What?" Shadow questioned, following Sil's finger. "A calender?"

"The calender is written in Japanese characters," Tails explained. "Sil, he's... covered in Japanese numbers?" Tails walked over to the calender. "Is that it, Silver, he's covered in numbers?"

Sil nodded, bitting nervously at his fingers.

"Which ones, Sil?" Shadow asked. "Tails, point to them."

Tails pointed to five.
Sil nodded yes.
The ten.
Nod yes.
The fifteen.
Nod no.
"Hm," Tails noted, pointing at twenty-one.
Nod no.
The nine.
Nod yes.
The eleven.
Nod no.

"From ten to one," Sonic realized.

Sil screamed in pain again. "They light up! At zero, everything goes away!!"

"At zero..." Shadow trailed. "Like... a countdown.."

"But a countdown to what?" Amy questioned.

"Sil already said it," Shadow answered. "At zero, everything goes away. The countdown is to our destruction."

I always feel bad for Sil when I read this. He's so cute, so I have a hard time hurting him.... Does this seem a little sudden, by the way? We're heading into plot land, ho ho. Ha, plot, land, that's funny and a sort of pun... ah well..... Well, see you all next week.

At first, I didn't really like Sil, his voice was kinda annoying, but the more I wrote his character, the more I liked him... and now he's in second place, tied with Sonic. Shadow and Scourge are tied in first place.

Anyway, thanks to plot, the sex is pretty much non-existent.

Oh noes! Sorry about double posting:crying: I guess until my tiny fanbase shows back up, I'll just post chapters. But it is Saturday, so I'm updating....


Sorry about the late in the day update. The storms around here have been fierce. But it looks like things are finally clearing up. Let's see, we got a lot of backstory in this chapter. I've read this chapter a few times over and I can only hope it's accurate. While writing Sh:A I've had to go back and change things for continuity sake. It's very difficult when you talk about stuff that happened before a certain event-you have to decide how many years ago it was, then calculate the ages of the people involved. When I first started writing this, I had no idea that Sil's being from the future would cause so much trouble. There's a lot of time-space stuff I had to literally draw out to make it make sense when I wrote it. So, yeah, there have been a lot of challenges, but I feel as though my way of writing has increased in many ways.
Well, enjoy.

Shadow: ADVENTURE
Chapter IV four

"Ku..."
Countdown: 9

~SHADOW:Adventure*

"Okey, time for a recap," Sonic began. "So, someone out there is covered in Japanese numbers, which represent a countdown to our destruction. The only thing is, this countdown was pushed into happening, the guy covered in the countdown didn't activate the countdown on his own... like he was forced to..."

"Shadow, how many days in advanced does Sil have these dreams?" Tails asked.

"Anywhere from four to fourteen days."

"Mmmm, so we, at least, have four days to save Centralis-or the world-which ever," Tails spoke. "What should we do?"

"We know more about the countdown, we should look for him first," Shadow answered. "When Sil wakes up, we'll ask him if he saw any sort of of well-known landmarks in his dream, then go from there."

Tails and Sonic nodded as Amy drew a cover over Sil, who slept uneasily on the couch, emotionally and mentally exhausted.

SHADOW: A D V E N T U R E >=]

"Dusk! Dusk! Did you feel him!?"

"Yes, I felt him. He seems a bit more... agitated."

"Dammit! I hate not know where he is!" Dawn yelled, slamming a fist against the wall. "The hell does he think he's doing- I mean, for real, what the fu)k is he doing!?"

"Perhaps now, while he is still slightly active, would be a good time to try to locate him?"

Dawn blinked. "Yeah... yeah... while he's energy is still fresh and settling. All right. Once I find him, I'll go get him. Maybe he can help us with your friend, Dusk."

Another gentle smile, the only smile capable of melting Dawn's heart. "Thank you very much, Dawn-Oniichan."

Dawn's face fell a bit.

"Oniichan, what's wrong?"

"I... just..." Dawn murmured, blushing. "Could you... not..."

Dusk blushed. "You don't like being called oniichan, because-" "-Hey, don't peek into my mind like that!!" Dawn cried, whipping around, blushing brighter.

Dusk giggled. "I'm sorry, Dawn-koi."

Dawn whipped back around. "Don't call me that, either!!"

"Then, what should I call you?"

"Dawn is fine."

"But, that's rather personal..."

Dawn walked over and placed a gloved hand on Dusk's cheek. "Look, Dusk... I... I mean, I know, because your my prototype, we share a few DNA cells, but we... I mean... I don't want to be seen as your brother, that's all... I..." Dawn let out a breath. "Look, I'll go look for him, just... think about..another name.. yeah..."

Dusk nodded, blushing.

Dawn smiled and turned around. He took a few steps forward on the platform before stopping at the first stop. There, he closed his eyes and began to concentrate, began to search for-

"Wait a minute..."

"What's wrong?"

Dawn's glowing eyes slid open. "There's someone else."

Sil's eyes flashed open, glowing a gentle blue. He sat up quickly, looking a bit confused, yet alert. Who's there?

Oh... you can hear me?

Yes...

You really are a psychokinetic...where.. are you from?

Well, that's rather complicated...

Did... you come from the ARK?

No, I didn't... Did you..?

I was created there.... There are two others like me. We were created on the ARK.

Created.. but I thought... Do you know someone named Shadow?

Um, no. Is he like us?

Sort of. He's not a psychokinetic, but, he was created on the ARK, too.

Re...really? So, even after us, they still continued...

You said there were two others like you. Are they with you?

One is. I was searching for the other one and I came across you. I haven't searched this side of the city yet- that would explain why we are now just meeting.

Tell me something. The one you are looking for... Do you know what he looks like?

Not really, but I can sense him. Every few days, he releases little bursts of energy, but, lately they've been coming out every few hours and a whole lot stronger. You wouldn't be able to sense him right off hand, since you're not linked to him like we are.

I see... So, even with these bursts of energy, you can't find him?

At first I couldn't because the bursts were so small and brief, but I'm getting closer now.

What if I told you... that I think I know what the person you're looking for looks like?

You... really know what he looks like!?

I think I do. A few hours ago, I had a future-seeing dream... If he's the same guy... we might be in trouble... I mean, I could be wrong, but...

Show me.

.... .... Oh my God.. I'm surprised you're still sane after that....

I know, considering how sensitive we are to things like that. Does he look familiar at all?

No, but... I've felt the energy... I didn't know he had that kind of power...

Look, if we get together, maybe we can find him. You know more about him, that could be helpful for my friends and I.

...Okay, I'll help you, but there's something I would like you to do for me.

Yes... I'll do what I can.

The other one here, I made a promise to him. His friend is in a coma. If we can bring him out of that... I know he'll be happy... Even if... I mean...

You like him a lot, don't you? Even if this other person took him away, as long as he was happy, that would be all right with you, right?

Wow... am I really that obvious?

Heh, let's just say, I can sort of relate. Look, tell me where you are and I'll get everyone to help. Once we take care of the countdown, I promise we'll help your friend.

Sil's eyes went back to their dull yellow and soon his boyfriends came into view.

"You all right, babe?" Shadow asked.

"I have a lead."

"Up here?"

"Yeah."

"What is this place?"

"A plateau... surrounded by rocks. From below, you can't see the escape pod."

Shadow glared a bit. "That escape pod..."

"It's from the ARK," came a voice. The door to the pod slid all the way open. A white hedgehog walked out, eyes almost glowing blue.

"That's him," Sil started, walking foward. "Dawn, it's me, Silver, the one you talked with earlier. You can just call me Sil, though."

"I don't have a nickname, so, Dawn will have to do. Thank you for coming...Sil. I take that they other two hedgehogs and fox are the friends of which you spoke."

"Yes. Tails, the fox here, I think he can help the one of which you spoke, the one in the coma."

"Let's go inside then," Dawn replied, stepping aside to let in his guests.

Shadow looked Dawn over briefly. Something about him reminded Shadow of himself.

Pain.

In his eyes, he saw so much pain...

"Right down the stairs," Dawn instructed, his nearly knee-high, black boots clanking along with everyone else's thick-soled shoes.

When the group got downstairs, they were confronted with a large tube full of something, the blue light from the tube being the only light source in the otherwise pitch black room. In the slanted tube there floated a figure, a young man with short, spikey white (or maybe silver?) hair, a long sheet wrapped around his seemingly sleeping form.

Sitting in front of the tube was a golden, almost dusty, colored hedgehog. His back was turned, golden back revealed by a lot cut shirt. He looked intently at the tube.

"Amazing..." Tails, eyes wide in amazement, stepped forward. "A second escape pod converted into a healing chamber. I've never seen anything like this.. and this underground chamber, I mean, it's not very big, but... to make this with your mind alone... Amazing."

"I guess," Dawn shrugged. "Dusk, we seem to have allies now. Tails-san will be helping you with your friend."

Dusk turned around, revealing large golden eyes. "Really? That makes me so happy," he smiled.

"He is cute, Dawn," Sil smirked.

"Right now, he sort of sees me as an older brother," Dawn smiled. "I suppose... that's fine for now... To truly ask for something more right now would make me feel selfish... and make things hectic in an already hectic time."

Sil looked over at Dawn for a few seconds more before he glanced over to his other side. "So-chan, are you cold? Your nipples are perky."

"The weather is hot outside, so all my shirts stop below my chest-even the sleeves," Sonic explained. "My chest is cold... and having my nipples all perky like this is embarrassing," Sonic blushed.

"Sil, give So-So your jacket," Shadow spoke. "Mine's has slits in the sleeve, so, mine won't do him much good."

Sil nodded and slid his deep purple jacket off, the rings that floated around his wrists via psychic energy seemingly jingled a bit. As Sil helped Sonic put on his jacket, Shadow slowly made his way over to the tube.

"Yeah..." he whispered. "I was asleep in one of these..."

"So, you were at the ARK, too?" Dusk asked.

"A long time ago..." Shadow answered softly. "....Wait, what do mean 'at the ARK, too'?"

"That's where Dawn-Onii-, I mean, Dawn and I were before we came here."

"So, you're Shadow," Dawn stepped foward. "Sil told us you were created there, too, on the ARK, but by how this sounds, you came after us."

Shadow turned to Dawn. "Let me get this straight: They were doing other experiments before me? For what?"

"They called the project the Psycho-Gain Project," Dawn explained. "They wanted to see if one can be given psychic powers while in the womb-or, in our case, test tubes."

"Test tubes?" Shadow questioned. "You're.. test tube babies?"

"If you were created on the ARK, you were probably one, too, Shadow," Dawn replied. "Dusk is my prototype, but when Dusk was complete, he showed no signs of having psychic powers, so, immediantly, they began working on me. I could feel everything they did from the moment I was...concieved in that tube. They split my cells, inserted things into me, even electrocuted me. I wanted to scream, but didn't have the power to do so... The entire time I was in that tube, I was in pain, up until the very last second I blew that suffocating thing to pieces. You see, during my last minutes in the tube, GUN raided the ARK. I don't know why, but the event led to Dusk tapping into his powers. He immediantly gave me a link to him and I saw all the destruction caused by the creatures, these... humans... I became so angry, I just... exploded with rage. Unfortunately, a year would pass before I met Dusk. GUN had confused Dusk with me, the explosion I caused while breaking my tube was thought to be Dusk's doing. Dusk and his friend fled and I did as well. A year later, and here we are, together again. I suppose after the GUN raid, they dropped the Psycho-Gain Project and went on to create you, Shadow. What did they want you to become?"

"The ultiment life form..." Shadow nearly whispered. "With the ability to warp time and space..."

"I see," Dawn replied. "Did you come out the way they wanted you to?"

"I'm not sure.. Maybe... I'm supposed to be the final product, since Sonic and I took out the prototype years ago... I guess during that time, you guys were taking care of him," Shadow pointed to the tube.

"You would be correct," Dawn replied. "I feel... useless. I'm the final result of the Psycho-Gain Project, I built this place like child's play and yet... I can't help Dusk's friend. I've tried dwelling into his mind, but all I see is darkness..."

"Is that why you stole this?" Tails asked, pointing at Dusk, who turned around completely.

In his hands was The Alexis Jewel.

"The Alexis Jewel?" Sil questioned. "You didn't tell me you stole that!"

"I guess it didn't seem important at the time," Dawn shrugged.

"Not important!?" Sil screamed. "You're a thief!"

"If you stole the Jewel, then you must have stolen the ARK Data," Shadow glared. "Why?"

"Idiot, I just told you that I hate the ARK. I don't give a damn about the ARK. Why would I steal data about that hellhole?"

"Wait, Shadow," Sonic started. "Remember, first of all, Dusk and Dawn were created years before you. Second, they probably spent that first year after they escaped looking for each other and have been in seclusion since then, trying to help thier friend and escape GUN. They don't know anything about Biolizard. Stealing information about Biolizard would be pointless to them. Plus, we just got the Alexis Jewel weeks ago. That was probably when Dawn heard about it, so that was his frist time in Centralis. By then, no one's even talking about Biolizard. Shadow, they don't know anything about Biolizard. Dawn didn't still those papers."

"But..." Shadow started. "If he didn't, who did?"

"I don't know," Dawn started. "I can surmise a few things though: I was used as a cover up. Someone came in after me, and then preceeded to fu)k up and trip an alarm. I caused that explosion because, at the time, I thought I had tripped the alarm and I wanted to cover my tracks. I stayed around to see if I needed to cover up anything more and heard those humans talk about the ARK information being stolen. That's how I found out that I had been followed and used. Besides, like the blue on said, I don't know anything about this Biolizard, why steal data on something I don't even know about?"

"All right then, I guess you're cleared," Shadow replied.

"Do you think the theif was him, the one I saw in my dream?" Sil asked.

Dawn nodded. "He's even older than we are. He wouldn't know anything about Biolizard."

"So, you guys know about the countdown?" Shadow asked.

"A little," Dawn replied. "We've never seen him, but we can sense him. I think he might have been an earlier Psycho-Gain prototype, but was a failure because when we sense him, we feel nothing."

"Nothing?" Sonic questioned.

"When you sense someone," Sil began. "You can feel their emotions, feelings, thoughts. If you guys aren't sensing such things from him, what could that mean?"

"Easy," Dawn started. "The "countdown," is blind, deaf and dumb."

There, Dusk and Dawn's backstory. I still think it needs some work, but now things will start to pick up! I keep thinking 'that part about So-So's jacket is weird.' I did it because I realized I never really describe what my hedgies are wearing... plus thinking about So's perky nipples is sort of cute XD XD. Anyway, if this chapter seemed long, it's because the last few have been kinda short. The next one is pretty short, too....

Very nice! So you’re a drawer AND a writer, eh? I love Sonic’s personality in this. The sex scenes, especially. A little more devilish than I’m accustom to =P You know, I liked that sandwich description XD

Anyways, the story so far is pretty good. I have to say Chapter III is my favorite chapter so far.. I’m a sucker for the unexpected. Of course I like the bit of explanation in Chapter IV. Your characters are good too. Nice and cute personalities, And I especially like Dawn and glad to get some background info. The plot is getting good, and can’t wait to see what happens next ^_^

Chapter V five

"Blind, deaf and dumb?" Shadow questioned.

"Right," Dawn replied. "He has no senses to take things in, and thus, can gain no emotions or feelings towards anything. In other words, The Countdown is nothing more than a doll."

"So, what did the people on the ARK do with him?" Sonic asked.

"I surmise they still wanted to use him for something, so they probably locked him up somewhere. During the G. U. N. Raid, somehow, he left the ARK as well. He probably has a "third eye" and can sense life energies. Somehow, though, he ended up with psychic powers. If I can find him, he might be able to cure Dusk's friend. That's all I know about him, so, of course, I don't know why he's a living countdown, but Sil showed me via our link what will happen if he reaches Zero."

"My future-seeing dreams take at least four days to come to pass. We have at least four days to find The Countdown... on the fifth, should my dream come to pass.... there will be no hope. If I get destroyed, of course, I can't go back in time to change things."

"So, you're not from this time period," Dawn smirked. "That's what you meant when you said "That's rather complicated"."

"Yeah," Sil smiled. "I'm from the future, about three years. Some stuff went down three years ago, but due to the time reboot, no on remembers what happens- I barely remember myself- but I do remember Sonic and Shadow and so, I came to befriend them... among other things..."

"Interesting," Dawn replied. "You being here doesn't alter anything drastically?"

"No- at least, not that I've noticed."

"Well, I suppose since you're from the future, things work out."

"I thought about that, but I don't think that's the case. I think the threat, The Flames of Disaster, of three years ago just got replaced by this. Since we erased the threat of three years ago, my future doesn't actually exist, thus this time period is taking a different course then the one it would have taken if Sonic and the rest hadn't stopped the Flames three years ago. In other words, when we stopped one threat, the world just took a different course and ended up with another threat. I'm from the furture of the first threat, so I don't know the outcome of this second threat."

"So, you're just as scared as the rest of us," Sonic smirked.

"Pretty much," Sil smiled back.

"All right then," Shadow started. "We have at least four days to save the world. Dawn, how well did the Alexis Jewel work?"

"Dusk said his friend seemed a bit more alive."

"I guess this Jewel's got a bit of a kick after all," Tail's spoke.

"All right," Shadow began again. "Even now, we still have a promise to keep. This is what we're going to do: Sil, stay here with Dusk. Together, you might be able to find The Countdown. Sonic, Tails, go back to the lab and get whatever you need to help this human come out of his coma. Dawn and I are going to see Knuckles."

"Knuckles?" Sonic questioned.

"If the Alexis Jewel helped a bit, perhaps Chaos Emeralds will do us some good, too," Shadow explained. "I'll need Dawn with me to prove my reason for borrowing them. Dawn, will Dusk be all right working with Sil?"

"Yes. Dusk is a little weaker in searching for psychic energy, but he will do well, nonetheless."

"Okay, then, Let's go."

End Chapter V Five

So, this is like a 'planning chapter'- we get to see what our team of heroes is gonna do. I guess it's sort of like Chapter 4 pt 2. But, we're also about to change scenes, so it's a good way to end the chapter.

I like writing things about space and time, so writing Sil's explanation about how he doesn't know the future of this outcome was fun.

So, here's what Sil basically said (and this has spoilers for StH2006)

Point A (our time) --> 3 years into the future--> Sil's time (already destroyed by Mephiles)

Sil goes back to Point A --> Destroys Mephiles with So and Shade -->
Sonic goes back in time with Elise and she blows out Solaris --> TIME REBOOT-->
Sil's original future erased due to Time Reboot (as well as the rest of the events of StH 2006) --> Return to beginning of Point A (Sil comes back to point A) -->
With no Flames, Sil's future no longer exist -->
Since Sil's future no longer exist, Point A takes a different course to a different future

Technically, Sil is from 3 years into the future of a different Timeline Period, not three years into the future of the Timeline since the world is no longer on the timeline leading to his future-because his future no longer exist.

It makes since when you think about it... really hard...>.>
