I was feeling creative for about 5 seconds, so I wrote down what I could before I forgot...

A ball.
A dance.
A masquerade.

Green eyes meet red eyes.
My gaze meets yours

A smirk.
A blush.
My heart goes ba-thump.

I look away,
I'm shy.

A shark.
A preditor.
Am I the prey?

I don't know you,
but you know me,

and as you come closer
my chest clenches.

It hurts,
but it feels good.

My hand touches yours,
so innocently.

I feel strangled.
Wordless.
Thoughtless.
Mindless.

Breathless.

Piercing.
Silence.

Stolen by voices,
I know the room is filled.

but still...
I only...
hear you...
I only...
see you...

Hanging on to my last breath,
I struggle just to fill my lungs.

Once your voice reaches my ears,
I am yours.

Mind, body and soul.
