I sat down in front of his cage , these were no normal metal cages these cages very much resembled glass elevators you could see in on either side and there were air holes in the top.


the clear material was not glass , it was a material stronger than platinum , if you tried to hit against this material it would bounce you back or shock you there was no way to escape unless we raised the door.


I looked at the so called monster , he cradled a round silver music box in both his hand and his eyes followed me when I moved. His eyes scared most of people here, but not me I found them strangely beautiful.

His smile returned but instead of tightening his grip, he tossed me over his shoulder grabbed any guns and weapon he could find and began walking towards the control room exit.


Finally he spoke “Guide me out to the nearest exit , an exit that leads outside, DO this and I won’t kill you, HE paused thinking for a moment then added , “-For now”


“Understood” I relpied amused “well I can give you a short cut, but will you trust me. “ “After all I could guide you into a swat room they would shoot down in second, and then I would live?” I said teasing him see what his reaction would be.


His arm tightened around me, crushing a few of my ribs, I laughed at his efforts. “Ouch That hurts” I said In a Sarcastic voice “Not impressed” I whispered amused.


He huffed in annoyed readjusted me on his shoulder and continued walking “Which way” he asked slightly irritated.


“GO through that hallway on the left then go down the staircase to your right” When we were finally down all those stairs , he attempted to open the door but it was bolted shut.


“Why won’t it open?” HE said anger creeping into his voice. “You need the key idiot, and you need an identification scan that door doesn’t just open.” He dropped me hard on the ground and pushed me towards the door.


“Open it” he said as he pushed a knife against my back, “so pushy jeez” I said annoyed His eyes widened in surprise.


“What’s the knife for stop trying to coax me, or I just might take longer” I said in a teasing voice.


He groaned in annoyance and took the knife off my back “Just open it”


“Fine” I said giggling


“Access granted” The door light blinked blue and the door flew open. “There you are” I said “ have fun” I began to turn back to the stairs, when he grabbed me by the waist and threw me back over his shoulder.


“Where do you think ,Your going?” he asked “Back to the lab, a still have 4 more hours till my shifts over” I answered simply “To do that; you kind of have to put me down.” I said in a matter of fact voice.


“OH no” he said a smile in his voice “your coming with me, your very interesting, I would like to keep you for little while longer.” He said as he knocked me out with his fist.


When I woke, I was on a soft couch, In a house that was unfamiliar.


I woke and stepped on to the floor, my foot hit a thick wet liquid I looked down “blood?”


A trail of it led out of this room, like something had been dragged. I followed the trail I was curious. What had he done while I slept?


A pile of four badly dismembered body lay in a large hole, “Wow” I said watching him shovel dirt over the bodies “A whole family , You really are evil aren’t you” I said smiling up at him, “You need help” I Asked him grabbing another shovel from the another side of the yard.

When we finally had buried all the bodies and burned all the evidence, I washed my hands and began to cook.
He walked up and leaned against the entryway of the kitchen, and stared at me amazed.


His pale skin glowed he had only a towel on since he just showered. I looked over and smiled “What would you like to eat , I’m assuming you like meat with blood in it right”? I asked him as I began to pound the beef.

Ch 5. How Much Can You Hate Yourself?

"Love me?" I was in absolute disbelief.
"More than breathing..." He said with his face still buried in my chest. I let him go and pushed him forward.
"Why did you do that?" He asked bewildered.
"Because... Because you can't love me Kei. I'm.. I'm not good for you." Dammit. He's gotten caught up in me. It's my spell! I f*cking hate myself. Why Kei? Why did I have to charm him too? He's too pure. Too good.
"Why not? Toru what's wrong?" He reaches for my hand and I pull it back.
"You shouldn't want me more than every breath you take. It's unreal. It's insane!"
"But I do! I really do! And I just think you're scared."
"Scared?!" The hell with that! He should be scared of me.
"Yeah! Scared that you might seriously love someone else. I'm pretty shocked at my feelings myself. I mean, I never thought I'd be gay and not with some guy I barely know. Yet, I do. When you touch me, when you say my name, and even when you breathe near me I go crazy. And I think you feel that way too Toru." He swallows hard and the tears are beginning to appear.
"Kei. I can't love you." I choke on the words as the come out. "Not even if I wanted too." I look him in those big, round eyes as he begins to cry. Silently, the tears fall one by one until they rush out. He's overflowing and he begins to sniffle, then it turns into an all out wail. I don't move to comfort him. I just stare and watch as all his feelings for me flow onto the sheets. Huge wet tears.
"I'm sorry Kei. I really am. We just can't be together... For more reasons than you'll ever know." He wipes away the tears, but more just begin to gush out the harder he tries.
"Why Toru? Why did you have to do this to me? You couldn't have just left me alone. If you were going to hurt me this bad, I rather you just never talked to me again once I got in that car. That could have been the end..." I had no response because I knew he was right. I selfishly played with him, yet this pain was completely unintentional. I never thought that a friendship this shallow would bring him a love so deep to him. Could this really only be a mere enchantment?
"I didn't think you would actually fall for me... I never would have imagined someone as innocent as you. In all honesty, you don't even know me." I begin to feel dark. Why does this infuriate me? I shouldn't give a damn about him. I'm not supposed to feel anything for him. I'm his superior in every way. I'm a damn vampire. I shouldn't care. But I do.
"I may not, but I know some things about you. You're nicer than you look, you have a blinding smile, a laugh that makes other people want to laugh too, and strong genlte hands." He fumbles with his fingers and for moment I felt like I had a heartbeat again.
"This is going too fast. You probably think you're in love because we had some really intimate sex. It happens a lot. Even though it was sex with a male, it doesn't necessarily mean that it's love." I slide off the bed and pull on my boxers and shorts. Kei remains silent with his head hanging down. Some more tears fall and I turn away to pull on the tshirt he let me wear.
"Leave..."
"What?"
"Leave Toru. You can keep the shorts and shirt, but just go." He finds his boxers and pulls them on hastily and his shorts as well. He gets off the bed and throws all of my other clothes into a drawstring bag in the corner.
"Kei are you for real?"
"Why the hell should I let you stay? To see something I can't have every damn day? No, I won't hurt myself like that for your sake. I'm sorry I can't do it. I'm not strong enough." He hands me the bag and pushes me out of his room slamming the door shut.
I don't put up a fight. I find my keys in the bag and walk out the front door. I didn't even put my shoes on, but I begin to drive away anyway. I go back to the apartments where that girl lives. With the cat and black hair. Raven, yeah that's her name. I knock on her door.
"Hey. Toru... You look disheveled." She answers the door confused and partially worried.
"I know. I know. Can I come in?" I ask in a low voice. It's almost to hard to speak. My chest is so tight I could burst at any moment.
"Sure. Are you alright? Where are your shoes?" She moves out the way adorned in her gray lounge wear.
"You could call it bad breakup..." I slouch onto her couch and put my head in my hands. Her cat curled into and out of my arms, finally settling close to my side.
"What did she-"
"He. It was a he." The silence in the air is almost painful until she sits on the other side of me.
"What did he say?" She grabs my arm making me reveal my face.
"It doesn't matter he hates me now. I hurt him. I hurt him beyond repair."
"I see. Words hurt more than physical pain. They're scars on the heart and the mind, and physical antidotes don't always work to heal those scars." She pats my back and gets up to leave, and she comes back with blankets and pillows.
"You can have the couch as long as you like."
"Why?"
"Because, you're my friend now Toru. You came back as if I were the only person left to turn to. You came to me in a vulnerable state. I'm not as so cruel to cast you out." Raven smirks a bit and lays the bedding next to the couch. I simply nod and wrap myself in one of the blankets. I drift off to sleep as she leaves the room. What now?

I sit up groggy on Raven's couch. I've been here for three days now and I feel like a helpless bum once again. I should just face the facts and accept that I will undoubtedly become a nomadic vampire roaming the earth all alone. It's a sad truth that I can't escape. After all, I'm a jackass who played with an innocent teenage heart and probably destroyed his confidence. Then again, I never said I loved him at all. I didn't intentionally lead him on!
Dammit. It's not my fault. It's not my fault I don't know how to love people or anyone else for that matter. When my mom was killed and I couldn't do anything to save her, that killed my compassion for others as well. Until, I met Kei. I was scared to think about loving someone else that I would just lose to a stronger force waiting to take him away. He was so pure, so clean, and so fresh. He was my freedom if only for a fleeting moment. I destroyed all of that because of my fear for the future, my fear for the unknown.
I bet he's beating himself up over falling for me. He's probably sitting on his bed wondering why he was so naive to fall for a rotten being like me. If I told him everything that's happened to me so far, would that change anything? Would he just completely understand why I'm so cold? Ha! As if. I'd hate myself too and call me a selfish monster without a soul, and there is absolute truth in those words. I've done enough self loathing to know.
"Toru, you're worrying me... You've gotta eat something in this house." Raven walked in to scold me once again for my starvation.
"I told you Raven, there's nothing here that I can eat."
"I swear! You act like a vampire in mourning."
"I am." I mumble.
"What?"
"I said that I am a vampire in mourning." I haven't fed in a week and a half now. My eyes are probably a boiling crimson as I stare at her.
"Your eyes are red. Crimson." She says calm yet stiff.
"I haven't fed in over a week." I say as I continue to mope on her couch.
"Oh. Why haven't you fed off of me?"
"Why the hell are you so calm?!" I ask exasperated.
"I've dated vampires. Killed a couple."
"The hell?! So you knew what I was the whole damn time!" F*ck moping for a second. This b*tch has infuriated me.
"Yeah, I was just waiting for you to admit it. I'm a retired slayer. I hate the system we go by so I quit. We only killed ones who went on homicidal sprees and what not. It was just to regulate the population."
"So if you knew then why did you let me stay? Is it because of my-"
"No, I'm immune to your enchantment. I only played along to gain your trust. I won't kill you unless you become a jeopardy to my life." I was completely... You know what? Dumbstruck won't even cover this shit. She patted my back and I cringed away.
"Raven what the hell..." I couldn't handle this. I'm the worse vampire ever. I can't sense when humans have seen through my disguise and I can't resist developing strong emotions for them.
"Here." She stretches out her wrist. "Feed." I don't protest and bite down sucking out the delicious red liquid. She hisses a bit from the pain, but she handles it well. I stop before she passes out.

Lello:

The man looked at Dawn, then back at the Neko boy. Then he smiles a nice, warm, inviting smile. 'He really is beautiful' Lello thinks as time seems to slow down as he gazes at the nice captain. "I would love to have you aboard!" Answers Dane, unaware of Lello's scrutiny. Both Dawn and Lello smile at being so well received.

The Captain, two men in red shirts, Lello, and Dawn (showing them all the way) all trekked through the woods and into the village. Two hours later, they had reached the market place. Lello did all of the negotiating and explaining (which he did exceedingly well at) and they were soon on their way again with the necessary supplies. Lello and Dawn waited patiently on the sand as the red shirted people brought a boat towards them. All of a sudden they heard an angry shout, causing Lello and Dawn both to turn.

"Father." Thay both stated in Elvish, horrified. They watched, petrified, as their father stomped towards them looking more than half drunk. Lello stepped in front of Dawn, assuming a protective position. "Go away father. We are leaving and there is nothing you can change." Lello stated warningly in Elvish. He stepped alarmingly close to Lello, so close that he could smell the alcohol on his father's breath quite potently.

"you will not be leaving, young man. You wanna know why? Because you ain't got the balls." He slurs out, grabbing Lello in an iron grip on his upper arms. Lello grits his teeth, grounding out his next words menacingly, "Father, remove your hands from my body." His father just grins drunkenly, "I don't think so. You're coming with me." His father's hand comes up, smacking him so hard that Lello is flung to the sand below.

Just then, Dane grabs him, shoving him away from Lello. "I suggest you back off before you get in over your head." Dane practically growls. But the drunken man doesn't back down, and he comes at Dane. "He's my son, he belongs to me." He grunts, throwing a wobbly punch. Dane easily dodged, grabbing his wrist and twisting with enough force to bring the man to his knees.

"People are not property. You'll do well to remember it." Dane forces through his clenched teeth. He then pinches his shoulder, and the drunk man falls to the sand, unconscious. Despite his hate for the man, Lello rushes forward. "Is he . . .?" Lello asks, his voice only a tiny bit unstable. "He's just asleep. It's more than he deserves though." Replied Dane, his voice barely suppressing his anger.

Lello nods, holding back a wince when he feels bruises forming along the left side of his face. "Well, men, let's get on our merry ways." Dane says, now completely composed and back to his normal warm and charming personality. They all board the ship, and they're soon on their 'merry way'. "Lello, Dawn, let's discuss your sleeping arrangements." Dane said to them, his mouth twitching at the corner in amusement. They look at each other, then turn back and nod.

"I'm sorry, but you'll both have to bunk with someone. There is too little room on board, I'm sorry . . . But, the good news is that I have a very good crew, so it won't be too terribly imposing, I hope." The Captain said, his eyes apologetic. "That's alright, I don't mind too much." Replied Dawn, smiling. She had always had a very strong sense of adventure. "I have already picked who you will be bunking with. Lello, you'll be bunking with me. Dawn, you will be bunking with Venus, my First commander." Dane informed them.

"Venus?" She said simply, rolling the name over her tongue. "Yes, I'll introduce you two later. As for now, I'll show you your quarters." He said, leading them through the ship. They stopped at an oak door, and Dane informed them that this was where Lello was staying, which also implied that these were the Captain's quarters. He led them only a little bit further and explained that this was where Dawn would be staying. Just then, a man opened the door and stepped out.

He was beautiful, no doubt about that. He had long silver/white hair that reached his lower back, light silver/blue eyes, his body tall and slender. His posture was straight, but he seemed fluid, almost like he was flowing without actually moving. He seemed to be radiating a quiet confidence, like he was used to holding power and wielded it easily. Dawn exhaled so softly that only Lello picked up on it.

He could sense his sister's attraction to the man as surely as she knew that Lello was attracted to the Captain. "Lello, Dawn, this is Venus." Dane said by way of introduction. Lello and Dawn nodded, as did Venus. "Venus, Dawn will be staying with you in your quarters until we land again." Dane explained. "Sir, that is illogical. Wouldn't it be better if she-"

"No, Venus. I trust you." The Captain said firmly, effectively cutting his First off. Venus's lips pursed into a thin line, but did not talk back as he nodded his approval. "Very well then. Help her get settled." He instructed, grabbing Lello's hand and heading back towards his own quarters. Dawn nervously stepped forward, a bit unsettled at the thought that Venus didn't want her there. Venus looked at her coolly, opening his door.

"Come, then." He said tersely. She shivered at how cold and distant he sounded. She stepped inside hesitantly, ducking her head. She felt like she had done something wrong, but she knew that couldn't be. After all, she wasn't the one giving orders.

He looked at her icily, his mouth pressing into another hard line. "I'm sorry." She says in a small voice, but confused why she had said it. She didn't do anything wrong, so why was she apologizing? "What, may I ask, did you do to feel as if you needed to apologize to me?" He asks, his eyebrow raising. "Umm, I . . . didn't do anything, but . . . I don't know! It's like you're blaming me for something!" She blurts out, then promptly covers her mouth and blushes a light purple.

Unlike humans, Nekos have purple blood instead of red. "I do not blame you for anything. What would I gain from blaming you? Furthermore you have not done anything wrong in the short time I have met you." He elaborated. Her blush deepens to a dark violet, and she feels silly. "Yeah, you're right, sorry." She says again, her eyes downcast. "It seems you have a habit of apologizing for no apparent reason."

When Dane took his hand, Lello let out a small breath of shock. Didn't the Captain know that Nekos hands were extremely sensitive? Lello's cock gave an answering twitch, and he bit his lip in arousal as Dane dragged him to their quarters. Dane closed the door, locking it behind him. He didn't mean anything by it, it was simply a habit.

They put Lello's clothes and other items away (Lello and Dawn had gone back to the cottage for their things). After that, they were both sitting on the bed, trying to get to know each other more. "You know, your ears are really cute." Dane told him, leaning forward and gently petting them. Lello shuddered, closing his eyes and leaning into the touch. They fell silent as Dane continued stroking Lello's ears.

A low purr broke the silence, and Dane noticed that Lello's tail was twitching. "Lello . . . are you purring?" Dane asked in wonderment. Lello nodded, but didn't pull away from the fingers stroking him. Dane's breath hitched, and his other hand started playing with Lello's tail. Lello whimpered, then slid closer to the Captain.

Lello's cock was aching now, and he subtly rubbed against the Captains thigh. His breath was coming in pants now, and he was purring hard. His face was flushed a light violet, and now he was being not-so-subtle about thrusting against the Captain. "Lello," The Captain said, lifting his chin and looking into his eyes. It went through his body, awakening every nerve and making them come alive, giving him so much pleasure. Lello's orgasm built up fast, and he came harder than he had his entire life. Dane extracted his fangs, feeling extremely guilty as he looked down at the small, fragile creature in his arms. How could he have taken advantage of him so easily?

Lello looked up at him sleepily, a small smile curving his swollen lips. "We gotta do that more often." He said before curling himself in Dane's lap and arms and yawning softly. He was asleep in seconds. Dane looked down at the fascinating creature, running his fingers over Lello's soft cheek. The Neko had come before they had even taken their clothes off.

Oh well, they could fix that. For now though, he needed to sleep. Dane gently placed Lello on the pillows, then brought the covers over him. As if second guessing himself, Dane hesitated before pressing his lips to Lello's cheek. "Sweet dreams." He whispers, then blows out the candles.
