Credits: Inspired while listening to “Open Wounds” by Skillet. Parts of this were also based off my poem called, “Heart Breaker.”

Stone cold green eyes pierced ahead almost as if illuminating the darkness surrounding them. The man took a few steps forward partially into the light, just from the outlines you could easily tell this man had a rough frame. “What business do you have here?” he questioned. Seconds, no minutes past before words finally shattered the silence. “What could a boy like yourself possibly want from us?” he asked.

Tsume’s breath came in uneven gasps, he could feel his heart pounding in his chest, and his palms were sweaty. How had he ended up here? More importantly, why had he ended up in front of this man? “I-I have no business here,” he stuttered. “I merely stumbled upon this place by pure mistake. I shall take my leave now,” Tsume stated and began to turn away.

A hand grasped his shoulder tightly so that he couldn’t move, “Not so fast,” the man growled. “You’ve already seen too much. We cannot allow you to leave,” he said. Tsume felt as if his heart was going to jump out of his chest, he couldn’t leave?

Quote Tsume, “This all happened a few weeks ago. I suppose I should tell you the story behind it, shouldn’t I?”

“Tsume!”

Tsume glared around to find Kayga standing before him with a silly smirk on his face. “I heard that you’ve been a bad boy,” he stated as the smirk slid further onto his face.

Tsume blinked a few times, obviously confused, “Come again?” he asked.

Kayga snickered, “You know very well what I mean, don’t try to play Mr. Innocent. You’ve been skipping classes,” he said. Tsume began to respond back with a well thought out answer but Kayga had beaten him to it. “-Not only that, you’ve been back talking your teachers and not doing your homework,” he added. His smile disappeared, “Is there something wrong, man?” he asked generally sounding concerned.

Tsume sighed and brushed back his brown hair so that it wasn’t hanging in his eyes. “No, I’ve just had a lot on my mind,” he muttered.

Kayga glared at him curiously but didn’t say anything else about it, “Well you better start showing up to your classes or Mr. Yagtori will fail you,” Kayga stated. Tsume nodded, and followed his friend back into the school.

Tsume was walking down an alleyway with his hands stuffed in his pockets and his head down as if thinking about something. A loud noise made his head jerk up in shock. Instinctively he ran towards where he had heard the sound and stopped as he reached a very small area where three men were standing… sort of. One of them was sprawled out on the ground in a weird position with blood trailing its way down his face. As for the other two they were standing above him with pure hatred in their eyes. One of them had dirty blonde hair and icy blue eyes, and the other had black hair and emerald green eyes.

“I swear, I don’t know anything. I didn’t do it!” the man on the ground persuaded.

The man with dirty blonde hair snorted impatiently, “We saw you! Don’t try and talk your way out of this,” he spat.

“But I didn’t-”

“That’s enough,” the black haired man said in a stern voice.

“But Vex,” the man with blonde hair began.

“I said that’s enough, Lucifer,” Vex growled. “If we carry this out much longer someone’s bound to see us,” he added.

“Fine, have it your way then,” Lucifer mumbled in a defeated way. He pulled out a pocket knife from his jacket and walked over to the fallen man. “You could’ve just told us, you know,” he whispered.

“No! No! You can’t do this!” the man said in a desperate last attempt. Lucifer raised his arm up and plunged it down into the man’s chest. Silence. There was no more pleading for help, there was no yelling or screaming. ‘He must’ve been killed instantly,’ Tsume thought as he glared at the two men almost hypnotized.

The man with black hair apparently named Vex glared around and for a moment Tsume’s eyes locked with his. “Kid!” he yelled but it was useless, Tsume had run for his life.

When Tsume reached his house he raced up the stairs and grabbed his cell phone. He dialed a number and tapped impatiently on his leg, ‘Pick up, pick up!’ he ordered silently. There was a click meaning that someone had obviously answered the phone. “Hellooo, this is Kayga,” he said.

“Kayga!” Tsume practically shouted into the phone.

“Tsume? Is something wrong man? You sound as if you’ve run a marathon or something,” Kayga questioned.

“Listen I’ve just seen two men in an alley-” Tsume began but was cut off considering his phone had been sent flying against the wall.

“Tsume? Tsume? Hello?” Kayga’s calls could be heard coming from the phone on the ground.

“You… you’re the guy I saw-”

“Earlier,” Vex finished coldly.

Feedback is apperciated :] I know it's kind of weird, but I plan to continue so you'll be able to understand it more.
