It's been an amazing 5 Years with you guys, and I look forward to many more.
I had hoped to have more to show for this years anniversary, but times have been rough in the life of this Admin lately. There are plenty of content and section updates planned, but there hasn't been an opportunity to fit the work necessary in. I'm grateful for everyones patience during this time, and I promise to have something to show for you guys soon.

Just a quick heads up if you're attending Anime Expo 2012 in Los Angeles, California this year.
There will be a Yaoi-Haven meetup this Monday, where members from Yaoi-Haven will be meeting in person for a little get together! If you're attending Anime Expo 2012, try and attend the meetup this year!
Be sure to mention your Username to Patrick (Sasu-muffin-eating-puppy) or Matthew (M-a-tt-h-e-w) during their video this year, so everyone knows who you are when the video is posted for everyone at Yaoi-Haven.
If you can't attend this year, I'm sure there will be another meetup in 2013, it's sort of become a tradition, and we should all thank Patrick () & Matthew () for hosting this meetup on our behalf, without them it wouldn't be possible!
If you're attending an Anime Convention, and you'd like to host a meetup yourself on our behalf, PM me with details and we'll most likely feature it as an official meetup.

It's very exciting to say that Yaoi-Haven has reached 80,000 Members!
I remember back in the day, celebrating when we reached 1,000 Members, but look at us today, now with 80,000 Members and still growing! I'm very proud of how far Yaoi-Haven has grown over the years, and I hope to continue to help and watch it grow for years to come!
For those of you that don't know, Yaoi-Haven has been around since July of 2007, and is still alive and kicking. Let's keep it that way!

OVA 4 of the 2012 re-make of Ai no Kusabi has been released. For those of you unfamiliar with this particular Yaoi, you can read the description for it below:
On planet Amoi, a great society has developed, creating a computerized city called Tanagura, ruled by supercomputer Jupiter. The populace is almost entirely male and is based on hair color; silver and/or blonds are the elitist, ending with dark/black haired as the bottom of society, often known as "mongrels". Blondies keep "pets", young boys kept for a few years, especially made for performing sexual actions for the Blondie's voyeurism entertainment. Blondies aren't suppose to keep pets for long or interact sexually with pets, but one blondie named Iason Mink has kept a pet named Rikki, for years and is rumored to sleep with him. Iason refuses to let go of Rikki, even with Jupiter's disapproval. Rikki fights with his emotions and society problems, unable to decide what to do about his old friend/lover Gai (Guy) and their gang. Iason is obsessed with keeping Rikki, and Rikki doesn't know what to do; fight against him or surrender to him.
