With the re-opening of the 'Original' Yaoi-Haven, ofcourse comes many additions. This thread is to inform you of those changes, aswell as to inform you of future changes.

So far most of the work has been towards removing anything & everything with the chance of causing downtime (for example, the last unexpected month downtime). Though, a lot of other work has been done as well.

To start, The Supreme Member usergroup has been re-opened, meaning members can now purchase it (with points obtained from posting) just like before. Though it's re-opened, the price is also raised.. So instead of being 1500 Points like before, it is now 3000 Points.

V.I.P pricing has also been increased, from the previous 500 Points, to 900 Points.

I've integrated a Cache System, to allow faster load times, and to greatly reduce consumed resources. Doing so allowed me to lower the Shoutbox limits a bit (for example, how long between shouts, and refresh speed).

This next add-on is going to get a bit confusing... but luckily not everyone has to understand it, they only need to slightly understand the concept.

I've added a Inactive Users add-on, which demotes inactive users after a period of time. For example, let's say someone hasn't posted on the site in 90 days, they will then be demoted to the 'Inactive Users' Member Group. This also includes Supreme Members, and V.I.P Members that are inactive.

Once the Inactive Member becomes active again, they will be promoted to 'Registered User', which is the default Member Group given when you registered. So basically if you're Supreme or V.I.P and don't post after awhile, you'll lose that status and have to re-buy it.

On top of this, I've re-enabled the Inactive User Reminder Email System. Which reminds users when they are inactive by emailing them and reminding them they need to post before 90 days or else they'll be demoted.

If over time, users are still inactive, those accounts will be deleted if necessary.

• Quickreply Upgraded (More like Full Reply now)
• Thread Prefix System Finally in use (Never used it)
• News Threads display like an Article (This thread is an example)
• Site Online Date Counter changed/moved to top right
• Tag Cloud Box Added to right column on Main Page
• SEO System re-implemented (Was removed due to bugs awhile back)
• Guestbook replaced with integrated Guestbook (Old signatures still visible)
• Profile Rating System added
• Many other Admin-Only changes (Varying from logs-email queue-security-and others)

Oh yeah, hellzy, I haves a question for ya..

There are 3 ways I can limit signatures atm, but I only like 2, but I still can't decide o-o

1.) The signature cuts off after a certain pixel height, so anything beyond the defined height, won't show, and if you have a large image it will cut off after the certain height.

2.) If signatures go past a certain height, then they will scroll from top to bottom to show everything in the signature.

I think the 2nd one is better, it'd be a marquee going slowly from top to bottom, plus this would be better for families, and signatures with only text, right? o-o


Btw, side note, re-added Dynamic Image Resizer, so now images in posts/sigs won't stretch threads *-*

Choice 2. I don't like it when they limit it like that. >.< Marquees are fun. XD
