2. Users found using a disposable, single use email address like mailinator will have their accounts banned.
3. Multiple Accounts are not allowed. If found with multiple accounts, all accounts associated may be permanently banned.
4. English is currently the only supported language on Yaoi-Haven. Please keep all topics and comments in English. This rule does not apply to Private Messages.
5. Advertising is strictly forbidden anywhere on Yaoi-Haven, and will result in a ban if necessary.
6. In no area of this website are users allowed to talk about real children with a reference to any kind of sexual fetish.
7. Please respect the Staff. This is a non-profit website, we're run by fans, for the fans.
8. Do not be rude, inconsiderate, etc to other members.
9. Do not spam. Spamming will not be tolerated, and may result in a temporary or permanent ban.
10. Do NOT post real life nude or pornographic materials anywhere on Yaoi-Haven.
11. Slander of any kind will not be accepted.
12. Hate speech will not be tolerated. e.i. Ethnic backgrounds, sexual orientation, etc etc.
13. Drugs will not be discussed on Yaoi-Haven. This includes the drugs themselves, experiences, etc.
14. Do not impersonate or pretend to be someone that you are not. Do not cheat others feelings or make false announcements, claims, etc that could cause emotional or physical pain to another member. Keep in mind, personal issues should be handled off of the website, our staff is not responsible for personal issues between members.
15. If you wish to cancel your membership at Yaoi-Haven, please fill out the form in this thread.

Main Forum Rules: --These rules apply to all Forums & Sub-forums in the Yaoi-Haven Forums.

1. Please do your best to stay on topic. If you feel a topic is straying too far from the topic, please consult a staff member.
2. No trolling - this includes leaving random comments that would be considered 'off topic'.
3. Any thread containing 18+ Material must include [18+] in the Title. If you've forgotten, please consult a staff member to edit the thread title for you.

Roleplay Forum Rules:

1. If you are creating a Roleplay, and it is intended to be of adult content, you must give the proper warning within the title and main post of the Roleplay. - If neither are found, your post is subject to be removed.
2. The creator of each individual roleplay may add additional rules that members must follow in order to participate in the roleplay. Please be sure to also follow any rules found in each roleplay thread.

Example of Rule #1: "[18+]The Sands of Time."

Points Rules:

You may earn points in various places around the Forum. For more information about how you can earn points, please visit the Points FAQ. If you have any questions, feel free to contact a Staff Member.

1. You may not donate a large sum of Points to another member in order for them to purchase V.I.P Status on Yaoi-Haven. This title must be earned on your own. If found donating or accepting points to achieve this, you may be warned, or even banned.

Avatars, Profile Pictures, Signatures:

1. No 18+ content.
2. No advertising.
3. No gore. We know this may be a fetish or a personal liking to some of you, but we will not accept any gorish or gore-like images.
4. Signatures: No sensitive or personal information.
5. Signatures: No large images please.
6. Signatures: No more than 2 outside links.

You will be contacted to change any content in violation of our rules. If not changed within the given time period, you will receive a temporary ban. The content will then be removed or replaced, depending on the violation.

Member Albums:

1. No 18+ content.

Album photos violating these rules will be removed by our staff, and you will be warned. If you continue to violate these rules, your account may be banned.

Groups:

1. No 18+ content. These images will be removed, and a warning will be issued. If found breaking this rule, your group may be deleted and you may receive a temporary ban if 18+ content is found in your group multiple times. If you'd like to upload 18+ Images that follow our website guidelines, please use the Gallery.
2. Cybering or Roleplaying is not allowed in Groups. If you'd like to Roleplay, please use the Roleplay Forum.
3. When you open a group, moderation of your group becomes your responsibility. It will be your job to monitor your group and make sure any rules are being followed.

Please make sure the members of your groups follow these rules, and remember that your groups are your responsibility, and as the group owner you have the necessary abilities to manage your groups.

Blog Rules: --These rules apply specifically to the Member Blogs Section of Yaoi-Haven.

2. Hate Speech, defaming another, etc will not be tolerated.
3. Direct or indirect rude/rash comments towards staff members will not be tolerated.
4. No direct advertising. Links to other websites are allowed, just not with the intent to advertise directly.

Photo Gallery Rules: --These rules apply specifically to the Photo Gallery of Yaoi-Haven.

1. You must be 18+ to enter the Gallery.
2. Main Forum Rules also apply to the Photo Gallery.
3. Please no 18+ style comments.
4. Please make sure to upload all Photos to the correct category.
5. No Duplicates. Please Search the Gallery before uploading.
6. No real life images allowed.
7. Please, no heterosexual content. We openly support Yaoi & Yuri in our Gallery only.
8. No Doujinshi/Manga pages allowed.
9. Low Quality photos may be removed.
10. All Photos are subject to approval before they're accepted into our Gallery. Sometimes this may take time, so bear with the Gallery Staff.
11. Not all Photos are approved into our Gallery.

If you're uploading a group of images we don't have a category for, feel free to request a new category Here, and make sure to follow the requesting rules Here.

Chat Rules: --These rules apply specifically to the Chat Section of Yaoi-Haven.

1. No 18+ content.
2. No Cybering or Roleplaying in the public chat. Keep anything private, private in a PM.
3. No outside Advertising.
4. Keep the chat friendly! No need to be rude.
5. If found breaking these simple rules, you may be banned from using the Chat System.
6. To report a user, click their username, then Report Shout.

TinyChat and/or other chat systems are not supported by Yaoi-Haven. If you wish to use such things, you are more than welcomed too, but in no way does Yaoi-Haven claim rights to, or ownership of any of these other chat systems.

Yaoi-Haven will not be accounted for if anything were to happen from these other chat systems.
