Anyone watched any movies with gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transexual themes? Which ones did you like? Share! xD

Here, I'll start off:

Hmm...I actually haven't really watched any that were not mainstream, because the only way I really hear about movies are from commercials. :P But what I did watch was "Brokeback Mountain" which was GREAT but saaaad. It's been such a long time since I saw it, but I remember loving it, so I'd recommend it. ^^

I just saw "Milk" today and OMFG it was awesome! I was crying, but man, I thought it was amazing. The actor that played Milk was so great. It is all about the gay rights movement in San Francisco in the 70s, and there are some politics involved, so I'm not sure if everyone would enjoy it (I did because I love stuff like that xD). However, I think if you are interested in gay rights at all, you should at least enjoy it, even if you might not love it like I did. >w<

It's been a while since I posted on this thread, but I learned of a few more movies from my friends. Also, so far we only have gay men movies, these are two lesbian ones:

"But I'm a Cheerleader" is apparently about a cheerleader whose parents think she's gay because she hasn't been actively dating, so they send her to a camp that "teaches her how to be straight". However, while she's there, she find out that her parents were right, and that she really is a lesbian. It's supposed to be hilarious.

"Saving Face" is about two Chinese women that fall in love, but though the girl has tried to tell her mom about their relationship, her mom is in denial and keeps on setting her up with guys. This is supposed to be funny as well, but there is more drama in this one.

Have you guys heard of Toto forever?
I havent seen it because it was supposed to release in select theators and mine wasn't picked so I also never saw a commercial for it.....
But I did get to hear what it was about:
Toto Forever tells the impossible love story between a postman and a gangster and is the new short film from director Roberto Fernandez Canuto. Toto Forever revolves around the love story of a young postman, that dreams of a new life, and a gangster, that is in deep trouble with a mafia group. Toto will never lose hope, despite the traumatic end of the affair. Filmed in 16mm, Toto is a fable in which the feelings and emotions are always fully exposed.

Yeah, I heard of Imagine Me & You! Someone else told me it was good, so I definitely should watch it! It's on my list! >w<

I just watched an AWESOME movie, it's now one of my favorites. It's called "------- Åmål", also known as "Show Me Love" (this movie supposedly inspired the T.a.T.u. song). The Wikipedia summary is: The film tells the story of two girls, Agnes and Elin, who go to school in the small town of Åmål in Sweden. Elin is outgoing and popular, but finds her life unsatisfying and dull. Agnes, by contrast, has no real friends and is constantly depressed. Agnes has a crush on Elin, but cannot find any way to express it. Agnes's parents worry about their daughter and try to be reassuring. Her mother decides, against Agnes's will, to throw a 16th birthday party for her, and Agnes is afraid no one will come. Because of that party Elin and Agnes meet, and afterwards both have to deal with peer pressure and try to find out who they really are.

Ahhh, it was SO GOOD. A new favorite movie! Haha, although I must say Agnes was really harsh to wheelchair girl... xDDD The movie was so emotional and, argh, just awesome!

It just sounded like it would be one of those totally boring things with a weird ending.....like they would say it would be about one thing but it would end all stupid....
I dont even know what i'm saying all I know is when I read the summary my likeable movie on/off switch turned off XDDD
