The Zombie Plan

Let's say the unthinkable (okay, the thinkable) would happen and a huge portion of the population would turn into zombies tomorrow.

As for me, I don't have one, but I started thinking about it.

Step 1: Stock up
I have a pistol in my house and a 22 gauge shotgun, as well as a fair amount of shells and bullets. Well, the first thing I'd do is back my car up to the edge of my sidewalk, since it has a lot of trunk room. In my trunk would go all canned and boxed food I had, all water I could get in containers and a bag of dog food. I need my aminals.

I have one six foot long katana, two swords and four daggers which would find themselves shoved unceremoniously shoved into the trunk. And because I'm a fan of the good old methods, several cans of fuel of different sorts, and a chainsaw.

My 22 Gauge will be up front with me and my cat. My dogs will be in the back.

Step 2: Gather the survivors
I'd contact friends in transit to their house. If I received an answer, I'd race to their house, get them to gather as much shit as possible and get the cavalcade rolling around town, gathering a crew.

Step 3: Garrison and Barricade.

This one is easier than you'd believe. I'll barricade myself in my high school. There's enough wood and metal chairs to barricade all doors and windows, sometimes twice over. I'd then use gates that the school has on certain hallways and the doors to rope off a working area leading from the Home Ec room, to the old gym, to the cafeteria and kitchen. This leaves two sets of doorways close by which I'll need to barricade. I'll use the recently built catapults with tripwires as an alarm system.

Step 4: Outlasting

Pooling the resources the group gathered from our homes, and the school's resources, we'll ration the food up as best as possible and wait out. As for calling in the cavalry, I've got a friend about an hour away who drives a very large, very heavy truck which he can get to a home near the school that I happen to know is loaded with over twenty different guns of varying legality, and more knives then I care to count. Using the cafeteria service doors, we'll actually allow him to drive his truck in to the cafeteria and use it as a barricade on the service doors.

Then it all comes down to hope. O.o

I'd probably have my dad go pick me up (My dad lives in a farm-like place- I live with my mom in the "big" city XD)

It's a giant house there and almost no neighbours- in other words- the perfect sanctuary from zombie-attacks!
...Then I'd get myself the biggest %#£&'ing shovel I could find... then... head-smashing time!!

: O im fucked cuz i train in Close Combat D; Closeness to Zombs=Stupid idea. Tho i have a sword and knife, and i could use them if it came down to it. My house is loaded with food, so im good there. I live on the 2nd floor of a house, with a balcony, so i got my lookout spot. Then, i sit and hope my neighborhood did'nt get infected, cuz if it did, i'd be killing lots of Undead Fat pplz.

I know, I face the same problem! I train karate. (and unless we learn some kind of move that can smash someones head open on the spot) I don't think my lessons would be of so much use in case of a zombie attack!

First I'd head to my dad's house, he has a Remington 700 chambered in 7mm Remington Magnum, and an M44 Mosin Nagant, both of which we would use for long range zed sniping, and he has two SKS's which are semi automatic rifles chambered in 7.62x39, an innaccurate round, but the ammo would be easy to find and it's semi auto capabilities would be damn helpful for say shooting a zombie while speeding away in a truck.

We would take his truck out of town and into the desert where we would live off the land and build our fortifications against zeds.

Make a giant metal box big enough to hold me and all my friends, and cover the outside of it with giant spikes. Then, get it stocked with food and water. Then... we wait O_O
