How much do you know about your favorite bands?

We all have favorite bands, or just bands we like in general, but just how much do you know about them?

Do you just know that they're hot? That the music is good?

Or do you know more, like who the people are in the group as humans, the deeper meanings in their songs, their music, etc?

To me, when I find a band I really like, even if I got into them cause the guys are hot, I learn about them. Obsessive, maybe, but I like knowing about the people behind the music. It just seems to give the songs more meanings, cause you understand more, like the stories being told in the lyrics or what inspired them.

So, do you obsess over your favorite bands like I do? Or are you fine with just knowing the music is awesome and that you like it?

I dont know everything about my favorite bands [except linkin park, im obsess with that band...]
i just know rather random information, like their names, where they form, genre&&stuff like that
i might not know about the band, but im usually eager to learn the meaning of the lyrics, i want to
know what was the inspiration of the lyrics, the emotions that the band might feel when playing
such song or which emotions created that song...im interested more in the lyrics than the band
itself -shrugs-
