Well, she's one of my favorite singers, and as you might know she sings Simple and Clean and Sanctuary from Kingdom Hearts. I think she is a great artist

She's been trying to let more people to listen to her music, so she released an album in 2006 for America but, unfortunately it wasn't very successful. And now she released a new album called "This is The One" with a new style on her songs. But a lot of her fans think her old style has vanished and has been replaced with an Americanized new style, that she's trying too hard to get all provocative to appeal the Americans and that she should come back to the innocence and purity of her Japanese songs. Maybe this album is experimental or she's just being funny with the lyrics?? It doesn't matter I still lover her music.

I don't know, I just want to know your opinion about Hikki's change.

she's brought a new one out? i didn't know that :O i hope her style hasn't changed to much

have you got a song you could recommend me to listen to? (from her new album) so i can see if she has changed or not. thanks! ^-^

hmm, it is a lot different from her original style :/

i prefer her old stuff, though this isn't bad, in a way.

i think she sounds more unique with her songs 'simple and clean' tbh
but i still love her anyways

i looooove utada, love her voice and the melody of her music! *-*
the first song i listen from her, i think, i was either im addicted to you or first love though xDD
then i heard simple and clean somewhere and feel more in love w her xDD
i didnt knew she had a new album though D: i never do know about CD releases =.=
but from the links i noticed that at least her melody haven't change a lot, the voice i somewhat different&&something more but i cant figure whut xD
but i keep loving her *-*

I love Hikki!I nearly have all of her albums,even the new one.my favorite songs by her are Simple and Clean,Hotel Lobby,Letters,and Deep River.

I think the change in her style is like everyone elses.everyone winds up changing styles every once in a while.she went from hip hop-ish kinda music,to JPop,to melodic kinda songs,to what she has today.If i didnt think any better,her style gets better and better whenever she changes it.
