coming out?..when?

ok i know this is late but on oct 11 is coming out of the closet day
but the thign is for me thats my b-day...i planed on telling my mom only but i thought it wasnt a good idea
i plan on telling her very soon cause im 18 now
so what im wonderign is do you plan on telling your family that your bi or gay? if yes where and when? if not why?

I already told my twin (much older) sisters that I recently had a chrush on my best (female) friend... I broke down crying in front of both of them

I havn't told my mom yet... and I don't think I'm going to tell the rest of my family... my two big sisters are enough for me... I already had the awkward question from one family member... I don't want any more awkward questions...

(Bigsis: "Well... then there's three things I really like that you don't like!" Me: "What are those?" Bigsis: "Dark chocolate, the color pink and guys!" Me: "...But I LOVE guys..." Bigsis: "Yeah... but weren't you... you know?" Me: "...I still like guys..." Bigsis: "Just making sure..." <insert awkward silence here>)So... yeah... I never meant to tell anyone... but with my sisters it sorta "slipped" ... But that's a whoooole other story!

PS/EDIT: I'm a 14 year old Bi-sexual!! XD If that makes the blabber up there easier to understand- I dunno! XD

I'm 15 and I told my parents this year. You must do it on a day like any other, when they are calm. First the most "open-minded", then the other, with the support of the first.

My parents took it very well. My mother said "I don't know why, but I'm not surprised" and my father went like : "your choice will be my choice, as long as you're happy, fine by me".

You know your parents, you must have an idea of how they will react. Go, but slowly.

Rasta-sama, you're one of a few lucky ones with understanding parents.
If I were to tell my parents I'm bisexual, they'd disown me. So will my other family members.

My family is really............I can't make up of how to describe them. They can be loving but strict at the same time cause they were brought up closely to church and follow it. I'm not that religious but I do pray and attend church.

You parents don't have to know that your bisexual. If you plan on spending your life with a girls, yes, you'll have to tell them, but if you don't, spare them.

The thing is, I'm trying to stay single. I'm not interested in a relationship right now.
Why? Cause there's no-one who has the same obsession as me.

One of the reasons I was dumped was cause the guys think I'm weird.
