I just got up from sleep, and its raining so I didnt wanna get up at 5:00am, so I got up about an hour later

Good news anybody! I just confessed to my mom that I like yaoi, and the convo went something liek disu:
Me: Savannahs talking to Aaron about da yaoi
Mom: What is yaoi?
Me: Its a thing in a fandom where boy anime characters are paired with other boy anime characters
Mom: *Sigh*
Me: Whats wrong?
Mom: Why does eveything have to have such perverse things in it?
Me: Its not like were making the characters gay or anything, its just porn for women
Mom: ***** <---my real name. its still perverted...o3o
Me: (After a while) What boys would u like to yaoi?
Mom: No thanks
Me: Can I show you my favorite yaoi pairing?
Mom: ....Sure = =
Me: *Shows royed pic* See? Edward Elric yaoi is da best kind of yaoi!!
Mom: lol. no yaoi is good yaoi. (In humerous tone)

Bwaha, I've confessed to my mom, my brother, my sister, and other relatives and they didn't seem to mind!

Except for my brother and one of my cousins. They think it's nasty. Not shounen-ai, but yaoi. I could understand... but I, personally, like it.

My mom sort of knows I like this sort of thing... no, wait, she's knows XD. I'm made stories for her that have gay characters in it. But then again, she's prety open minded. She knows a gay guy at work and when she found out he was getting "married" (cause I'm pretty sure it's not legal in AL >.>) she and her other friend brought him a cake. XD

I'm pretty sure my dad is prejudice, so I would never tell him. His side of the family is pretty religious, too. My mom's side of the family, I don't really know. They might accept my liking of it.

Hm, all of my friends know and most of them like it or at least accept my liking of it. My little sister knows and my surrogate brother and I write gay stories together. He even lets me write gay stories about him with original characters I make. XD He's like "it's a little wierd, but interesting."

My fiance didn't like it at first, but he's more tolerate of it now.

I confess all the time though- On my purse, I have pin that says "Crazy Yaoi Fangirl" and a t-shirt that says "yaoi" that I pretty much bought on a dare.

Me: Oh, A yaoi t-shirt!
Friend: Uh... you really want that?
Me: You don't think I'll buy it?
Friend: Well...
Me: F, I'm gonna buy it! How much is that shirt!?
