Now here's a thread I hope gets some discussions going. Miyazaki films. Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, and Kiki's Delivery Service are just a few I can think of off the top of my head.
I remember watching a lot of those movies as a kid. I think Princess Mononoke was the first one I ever saw. The story lines are always totally amazing, the art flawless. There is never anything bad to say about Miyazaki films.
So, let's all rant and rave about how awesome they are and what your favorite movies from Miyazaki are, favorite chars, scenes, etc etc etc.

But I've seen Kiki Delevery Service, Spirted Away, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Nasicaa the Valley of the Wind, Howl's Moving Castle, and Ponyo.
There are a few others I haven't seen.

Or maybe I saw Kiki's first? Either way, I was young. Spirited Away is probably my favorite though Howl is pretty good... It's hard to pick. LOL
There's quite a few I still need to see too. >>;

Those movies are pure art, the story is amazing!!!
And I love the music and the characters, Haku was so cute why he didn't left with Chihiro??!!

I really liked Whisper of the Heart that was really cute, and so was spirited away, and howl's moving castle...i cant choose a favorite!!!
has anyone seen grave of the fireflies?? sooo sad

11-18-2009 01:55 PM #9I love Howl's Moving Castle! I own Princess Mononokee. I really love Miyazaki's movies! I really want to see more but there never seem to be any at the stores that I go to. I need to see more of his work! It is really good art and the stories are great!!!
