Ah, Alice 19th. I read this like, way back in the 5th grade. I remember sitting in Borders, reading each volume every day after school.
You really do have to love Watase Yuu.
Alice Seno seems like a normal girl in high school. She's a bit shy, she's got a crush on a boy named Kyou, and she's got an older sister who is more popular than she is...pretty normal stuff, until Alice has an encounter with a mysterious and magical rabbit girl that changes the course of her life, and Alice is introduced to the sublime power of the Lotis Words.

12-29-2011 12:01 PM #4Oh dang! I remember reading this in elementary school too >.< I borrowed it from the public library and got really obsessed over it at some point! It was when I was also reading Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, Hravitation, and a bunch of other old school manga. Oh and I love Absolute Boyfriend! Same with Imadoki. Yuu Watase always has good series like Fushigi Yugi. Meh right in straying off the topic of Alice 19th >.< memories~!

12-29-2011 02:07 PM #5It's okay, Alice 19th brings back memories for me too. LOL Back to when manga was simple, unlike One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach. Sob. Off topic, but I caught up to Bleach and Naruto only for the story line to go BLEG and I was like "Why did I spend so much time reading this?" And One Piece is even longer, but I hear it hasn't gone down the drain, so...
But I didn't have to wonder that with Alice 19th. LOL Or any other Yuu manga.

12-29-2011 02:43 PM #6Yeah I heard about Bleach and such decreasing. For Bleach I only watch it, I haven't caught up quite yet but I'm on episode 259 I think. Anyways I like the whole short, yet excitement of Alice 19th. It was really original and definitely Watase's style n__n I just wish she would release another series soon <3
