I'm a MAJOR pokemon game follower and I stumbled upon this in a forum and i'm freaking out. Not only is it the first time I have heard of a game before it is said to come out in Japan but i'm sure this is the first i'm hearing of it in my group of school friends.

I plan to eagerly await it's coming and save up my money so this time I can pre-order both instead of one.

Personally my hopes are this one will replace HMs with items you can use and just making the moves they usually grant TMs. I like surf and fly as moves, but sometimes I don't want to drag around my HM slave to flash caves and push rocks.

Also maybe they'll do like they were planning for Diamond and Pearl and have a different element trio for the starters. They were talking about psychic/fighting/dark starters last gen, they should go through with it this time.

Also, use more type combos than have been done before. I know they love giving us some normal/flying, poison/bug, and rock/ground, but how about some of the ones they haven't touched yet? A Fighting/Ghost? A Dragon/Grass? Or how about just a pure flying type?

So anyway I thought it was fake but it's real. Even if it ends up being fake again i'm keeping this up for discussion and we'll pretend it's real 8D

Continue discussion, I believe shaking things up a bit with the startes sounds pretty awesome to me. I like the dark types better anyway, I choose fire all the time though because it's my second best.

I also like the idea of the HM being items thing. I hate water types personally and having to work with one if a pain because they are useless for me. But having to drag one around because it has my oh-so precious surf on it is unnecessary. Items would be much easier and then I wouldn't feel obligated to load my fire type up with the rock moves because he's fighting as well.

Personally? I loved G1, I ADORED G2, I loved G3, and G4...honestly 90% of the Pokemon looked GOOFY. I didn't much care for it but that's just me. I'm honestly ready to see what new stuff they have up their sleeves.

I firmly believe Gary should be the rival in every Pokémon game. No, I don't care if he's 45 by the time Black and White or whatever is out.

He should also continue to be a total dick like he was from day 1.There he was at 10 years old driving around a convertible and had bitches at his beck and call. This should continue!

Whenever you enter a cave and come out with all your Pokémon are at 3 hit points? Gary appears.

Get through Team Rocket HQ, out of any healing items with your best team reduced to rubble? Gary rolls up in his Mercedes.

When you finally attain all the badges you need, with your favorite Pokèmon battered and beaten? Yeah, Gary.

All your Pokémon are knocked out and you're 5 tiles away from the Pokémon Center -- Guess who just blocked the entrance way and says he challenges you to a fight?

I kind of agree with the changing of enemies in pokemon games isn't something I liked. Which is why I stopped watching the show when they replaced every character EXCEPT fricken Ash.

But then again I do LOVE to name things. I like naming the enemy and hey, if someone likes Gary enough they can just NAME the enemy Gary or something.

But NOW your childhood neighbor is no longer your pokemon enemy he's your best friend or something(wtf?) which I don't like but at least I still get to name him.

But on another note, I think that's an over used meme. I can't remember it's been a while since i've read the things around the block.

Well when you read/hear/see the same thing over and over again it's not funny after a while. However you are right I would rather have my rival be Gary than anyone else.


I'll be getting both because i'm not rascist like matt ;D Just kidding, i'll probably get the white version only(if I don't have enough money for both)
