-Prologue-
Long, long ago...
The Lord of the Universe had many children. Between the Lord and his children, they were to decide who would rule Heaven and Hell as well as decide the traditions and hobbies of the townspeople that looked over. There was a slight oddity to one of the children, though. One of the sons of the Lord seemed more feminine than the rest of the boys.
And for this the Lord decided that this son was to rule Hell. The Lord told his children and the townspeople not to speak of love, for the power of love can break any bond. Including the son’s bond to hell and everyone had obeyed the Lords command and the son never heard of the word love.
To the son, love never existed.
---------Chapter 1---------
-16 years later-
Lucifer sighed, knowing exactly what would happen today. It was all the same routine; wake up, eat, sit down and do absolutely nothing. There was nothing—no one to even amuse him. Even though he could torture lives of people for all of eternity, the act just simply didn’t appeal to him. He decided to go to the yard to see what his hellhounds were up to.
"Fetch boy," he mumbled as he threw a couple pieces of rotting giant rat flesh at the dogs.
The dogs jumped and chased after the meet, barking as they caught it and ate the flesh. They growled happily as they started creating a bloody scene, tearing the muscles and meat of the rats viciously.
"Good boys," he cooed and chuckled.
He stood and watched them for a bit, watching as they happily munched on the rat flesh before sighing and going back into his castle.
Lucifer’s castle was gothic and pure black with rivers of lava surrounding it. Statues of hellish fiends were littered within the castle and outside of it, but there was a reason for this: if there was ever a need, these statues could come to life and obey Matthew's every command immediately. There were tons of nice little trinkets in every room and loads of switches leading to different rooms and even death traps. All of these things in case there was ever an invasion, which, luckily, was nearly impossible due to the seal above the skies of Hell. It made sure nobody could ever enter.
Or ever leave.
