I know it's crazy but I'm hoping to..

To take a hold of you..


We we're worst enemys.
Always fighting.
I always loved you though,
From the moment I saw you.
I never would have thought this would happen between us.


The day we confessed to eachother,
I will never forget it.

It was raining, we both got locked outside.
Taking shelter under the old maple tree.

"Tsk. Too many damn couples carved their name into this tree." you said annoyed, as you tried crossing some out with a stick.

I didn't reply, I just wanted to get away from you,
I was on the verge of bursting into tears.

Sadly, you noticed something was wrong.
You took my hand and turned my head toward you, gently kissing me.

You held my hand softly and looked into my eyes,
"I know you think I... hate you... but... the truth is... I lo--"

I cut you off and kissed you deeply.
We sat there under the old maple tree,
kissing and holding hands.

I pulled back softly and wispered, "I love you too"

Tears came to your eyes as you smiled,
You smiled bigger than I've ever seen.

My heart was filled with joy,
We weren't fighting anymore.
We we're in love.


You're everything I'm wanting.

But for a piece, this is good. I liked reading it, even though I'm not into reading poetry / song lyrics.
