Prisoner



Laying alone, I hear whispers that send shivers down my spine
Staring in a world of death, I see corpses align

A room is my haven; a haven is my room
An eerie beacon flashes in front of my eyes and develops to fully bloom

I stare and ponder "Have I finally paid my dues to Death?"
Cold envelops me like a blanket, and I can even see my breath

Curling into a ball, I start to cry; Life is just a game nobody can win
Murderous hands cover shamefull eyes till I bring the covers up to my chin

Golden shackles murmur to Oblivion, it hurts that they are so tightly bind
I'm a prisoner of my body and eternally damned inside my mind
