Nokia or Sony Ericsson?

Im finally getting a new phone and at first i thought of getting a Nokia phone
But i noticed that people i know that use Nokia phones usually break or dont work anymore pretty fast

My friend has had a Sony Ericsson for 3 years and it still works just fine
But does it also matter if the phone is more 'advanced'?
like for example it would have a qwerty keyboard and an 8 megapixel camera & touchscreen and all that kinda jazz?

i have sony ericsson phone well i use for about 3 years now..

im using an LG right now but i had a sony ercisson before that and it broke down it 4 months =___=
but i think that sony ericsson is better than nokia. besides, they are prettier ;P
